About the event

Removing barriers to employment through digital skills.


Jobs Bundaberg is delivering a five-session Digital Literacy Workshop Series in Bundaberg (June 2–4 and 9–10). The program supports individuals with basic digital knowledge who lack confidence using technology for job search, applications, communication, and online safety. Referrals are sought from employment services, community organisations, government agencies and businesses. All referrals are assessed prior to placement.


This is a referral-only program offering free, face-to-face workshops focused on practical, employment-based digital skills. Participants will build confidence using job platforms, completing applications, managing email, and communicating online safely.


Referring suitable clients helps address a key barrier to employment - limited digital confidence. The program supports improved engagement with job search requirements and overall work readiness.


Suitable candidates have basic digital exposure but low confidence applying these skills. They may struggle with online applications, email, or job platforms. Participants should be seeking work, able to attend…
